Web-mail 

To make it easy for our members to read email while away from home we provide a web-based email portal.
You have to log-in with your complete email address and your password.

The web-mail is direct link to the mail-servers folder structure. This means that if you remove mail in the web-mail your normal mail client will not be able to fetch this message anymore. This can be convenient if there is some large mail stalling your normal mail processing.

Email-client settings

If you want to read your mail with a locally installed email client you'll need the following information.
SMTP (outgoing) Server: mail.three-dimensional.net (Requires authentication, see below)
POP3 or IMAP (incoming) Server: mail.three-dimensional.net
Your email address is also your user-name.

If you use mail.three-dimensional.net as SMTP server you'll need to setup authentication.
The user-name and password for this service are the same as for incoming mail.

Email settings

There are two different interfaces for your email settings.
In the web-mail you can access them under Options.
If you don't want to use the web-mail you can reach the settings here.
Use your email address and your email password to log-in.

FTP

If you were granted ftp access to your web-space you can reach it by logging in to ftp.three-dimensional.net.

Password Recovery

Because we think security is very important we store all passwords in encrypted for in our databases.
The only drawback is that we cannot recover a lost password. You can ask for a password reset though.
We will only respond to requests send to support@three-dimensional.net with a sender email address known
as a valid email address for your account. Make sure to provide us the correct email address when you first register with us,
and also when your email address changes you should notify us. This way both you and we are able to communicate and resolve issues in an acceptable time-frame.

Support

If you need support with anything you do with us, send a mail to support@three-dimensional.net.
Make sure to list at least the following information:
- Member name
- Service you need support with (ex: Email, FTP, Website)
- Detailed description of the problem
- Date/Time the problem first manifested itself
- Involved software on your side (email client, ftp client, browser version)
If we ask you for more information, make sure to leave the subject of the email intact when replying. Adding Re: in front of the original subject is OK. This makes sure your reply will be added to the created ticket and an engineer will have access to this information. This way we can resolve the issue without having to ask for the same information over and over again.
